This Peanut Butter Dip is a wonderful option for a snack. It’s less than 150 calories per serving and satisfies your body’s cravings for some healthy fats (in the peanut butter), carbs (in the fruit) and some protein (Greek yogurt and the peanut butter). Now that’s a powerful dip!

3 ingredient peanut butter dip

Those three little ingredients can actually help you stay satiated and can help you keep your weight in check. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Greek yogurt has about 10 grams of protein in half a cup, which means you’ll feel fuller longer (and have less tendency to get hungry or reach for more snacks)
  • Peanut butter is chock-full of heart-healthy monounsaturated fat…the good fat which can help you lose belly weight.
  • Honey sweetens the whole deal and makes you feel extra satisfied.

How to make peanut butter dip

  • Place all of the ingredients in a bowl.
  • Serve until smooth and creamy.
Ingredients to make the recipe bofore and after mixing

I’ve found that moderate in-between meal snacks that are around 100 – 150 calories are wonderful for boosting my metabolism and limiting any over eating during lunch and dinner. This works great for yourself, for kids or for a party spread with any kind of fruit.

Hope you try this peanut butter and upgrade your fruit platter with something fun to dip your fruit in. Fun Note: My daughter used to call this frosting when she was around 3 years old. She’s older and wiser now haha!

Tips to make this healthy dip

  1. Use creamy peanut butter to make this dip. You can use crunchy if you prefer more texture, but I like how smooth it comes out like this.
  2. Use any sweetener of choice or skip the sweetener. I like to use honey to naturally sweeten this dip, but you can also use maple syrup if that’s what you have.
  3. Add some other flavors into it. You can whisk in 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder or 1 tablespoon of strawberry jam for either a chocolate peanut butter flavor or a peanut butter jelly flavor.

Hands down…this is THE BEST PB yogurt dip recipe there is. I can’t do dairy, so I used Siggi’s plant based coconut blend, vanilla flavor (1.5 lb, or 24 oz.) larger tub and triple the recipe. Then I divide it up in small containers and have it throughout the week! YUMMMMMM!! Thank you for the recipe!

  14. Dianne C says:

For whatever reason, I started craving peanut butter in my old age. I make a 1/2 a batch of this, but I don’t mix in any sweetener. Instead, I put whipped cream on it and eat it for dessert. It has more nutrition than my other desert preferences, so I can indulge more often. It also fills me up whereas normal goodies just make me want to eat more.

    1. Yumna says:

So happy you found a way to enjoy this as a special dessert!

  15. Pat says:

    Yum ! Delicious!

My family loves this dip! I double the recipe every time and it is always gone with a few days. What is the serving size for the recipe? I saw that it makes 8 servings, but just wondering how much was in each serving.

    1. Yumna Jawad says:

Yay! That’s amazing. One serving is roughly 1/3 cup.

  17. KarenC says:

Perfect for an autumn day! So good and so easy👏🍁🍂🍎🍏

    1. Yumna Jawad says:

Yay! So glad to hear it!

  18. Tuesday says:

The video shows that you put paper in the measuring cup for the yogurt and peanut butter. Why? That seems like a waste of paper. Thanks!

    1. Yumna J. says:

It was to make it easier to transfer, but you can skip that step too!

  19. Karen says:

This was really good! I halved the recipe and used low fat Greek yogurt because that’s what I had on hand and also added a touch more of honey. I love peanut butter with apples so this was great to add some extra protein. My 3.5 year old also loved it with his apples! I also like the idea of eating it as a yogurt snack with toppings as another reviewer mentioned.

    1. Yumna J. says:

I’m so glad you both enjoyed it! Thank you!

  20. Zainab says:

Yum!! I made half the amount and ate it as a yogurt snack. I added walnuts and chocolate chips on top. What a great snack!!

    1. Yumna J. says:

That sounds like a great way to add some crunch! Thank you!!

  21. Husna Ansari says:
